Goosefeathers

The age of one-size-fits-all software is over.

AI has changed the economics of custom software. Goosefeathers builds apps, internal tools, automations, and AI agents around the way your business actually works — from a blank page to production.

Bring the idea. We turn it into a plan and ship it one piece at a time. No full-time development team. No agency-sized commitment. Everything is delivered into accounts you own.

Founding pilot: $700/month · five spots · cancel anytime

Month to month · no contract · one active request · you keep everything

The old software tradeoff is over

Your business no longer has to fit somebody else's software.

Custom software used to mean a huge budget, a long build, and a permanent development team. So businesses rented generic tools, stacked subscriptions, and changed the way they worked to fit whatever the software allowed.

AI changes that. Focused software can now be built faster, launched smaller, and improved as you learn. That opens up a better set of choices:

  • Build the product you have been waiting to launch.
  • Replace an expensive tool that only does 70% of what you need.
  • Turn a spreadsheet-and-Slack process into a real internal system.
  • Give repetitive work to an AI agent that can actually complete it.

Off-the-shelf software still makes sense when it fits. When it does not, settling is no longer the only practical option.

What you can put on the board

Start with the thing your business needs most.

  • Launch the first useful version of a software product.
  • Build a portal where customers can book, pay, upload, or manage their account.
  • Turn the spreadsheet your business runs on into a focused internal app.
  • Replace an expensive internal tool with software built around the way your team works.
  • Connect forms, payments, calendars, CRMs, email, and Slack into one workflow.
  • Replace repetitive admin work with an automation that runs in the background.
  • Deploy an AI agent that can handle a task, make decisions within clear rules, and bring exceptions to a person.
  • Add the next feature once the first one is in people's hands.

Already started? We also take over unfinished AI-built and no-code projects when they pass a short technical review.

Stop renting software that still makes you work around it

If you pay every month for an internal tool but only use a fraction of it, Goosefeathers can build a focused replacement around the workflow you actually need. Lose the per-seat pricing. Keep control of your data. Add or change features as the business evolves.

Not every subscription should be rebuilt. This works best for narrow, stable internal workflows — not core accounting, medical, or enterprise systems. We help you decide whether replacing the tool is likely to cost less than continuing to rent it before work begins.

Give the repetitive work to an agent

Some problems do not need another screen. They need the work to happen automatically. Goosefeathers builds AI agents and automations that can listen, read, decide, update systems, and hand off to a person when judgment is required.

  • A voice agent that answers calls, qualifies the caller, books an appointment, and updates the CRM.
  • An inbox agent that sorts requests, gathers missing information, drafts replies, and creates the right task.
  • A lead agent that researches prospects, enriches records, and keeps the CRM current.
  • A document agent that extracts information from forms, invoices, or PDFs and enters it where it belongs.
  • An operations agent that watches for exceptions, takes approved actions, and sends a useful summary.

Agents are built around a defined job with clear permissions, guardrails, and human approval wherever mistakes would matter.

How it works

1. Bring us the idea.

Tell us what you want to build, who it is for, and what it should make possible. We confirm that the project fits before you subscribe.

2. We shape the first useful version.

At kickoff, we turn the idea into a sequence of clear requests on your board. You choose the priority; we help keep each piece small enough to ship.

3. Every request is sized before work starts.

Within one business day of being marked ready, each request gets a Small, Medium, or Large size and an estimated delivery window. Oversized requests get split into pieces that can ship in sequence.

4. We ship one request at a time.

Work is delivered into your accounts with a short walkthrough. Revisions within the agreed request are included. Then we pull the next card.

Request sizes

Delivery windows begin when a card moves into active development, not when it enters the backlog.

Small — about 2 business days

One bounded change.

  • Fix a contact form that reports success but sends no email.
  • Connect a domain, set up SSL, and fix redirects.

Medium — about 4 business days

One feature with a clear definition of done.

  • Add Stripe Checkout for one product or plan.
  • Move an app from fake data to a real database with appropriate access rules.
  • Build an agent that triages an inbox and updates an existing CRM.

Large — about 8 business days

A multi-part feature.

  • Add signup, login, password reset, roles, and protected pages.
  • Build the first usable version of a focused portal or internal tool.
  • Deploy an inbound voice agent that qualifies callers, books appointments, and logs the outcome.

Bigger than Large

An entire product is not one card. We turn it into a sequence of requests and ship the smallest useful version first.

You see the size before work begins and can split or reduce the request. If we approve and mis-size it, that is on us — not your bill.

What you are paying for

AI makes the work faster. A person remains responsible for the result.

Coding agents do much of the implementation. Brennen scopes, directs, reviews, tests, and delivers the work. Nothing is outsourced or shipped directly from an agent without review. You are buying responsibility for the result, not access to another AI tool.

Everything lives in accounts you control from the first commit. Cancel and it stays there.

Good fit / not a fit

A good fit

  • New web apps, customer portals, internal tools, and dashboards
  • Focused replacements for costly internal SaaS tools
  • Payments, auth, databases, email, APIs, and integrations
  • AI agents, including inbound voice, email, document, research, and operations agents
  • Automations using n8n, Make, Zapier, or custom workflows
  • Deployments, domains, SEO fundamentals, and security hardening
  • Approved takeovers of unfinished AI-built or no-code projects

Not a fit

  • Native iOS or Android apps
  • Replacing a core accounting, EHR, practice-management, or ERP system
  • Work that puts Goosefeathers directly in scope for HIPAA or PCI compliance
  • 24/7 on-call support or uptime guarantees
  • Brochure-only websites, brand identity, or visual design from scratch
  • Legacy or highly specialized stacks we cannot confidently support

Not sure? Send the project before subscribing. We would rather decline a bad fit than discover one halfway through the month.

The founding pilot

$700 per month · five spots

Goosefeathers is starting as a founder-run pilot. Five customers get the full service while we learn which work is most valuable and how much can be delivered without sacrificing quality.

  • Unlimited requests in your backlog, with one active at a time
  • Every ready request sized within one business day
  • Estimated delivery in about 2, 4, or 8 active business days
  • One 30-minute kickoff call, then async work through the board
  • Work delivered into accounts you own
  • Revisions included within the agreed request
  • Pause anytime; unused paid days carry forward and your spot stays yours
  • Cancel anytime; month to month, with no contract
  • 75% refund if you cancel within the first seven days

The $700 price applies during the founding pilot. You receive at least 30 days' notice before a price change or if the pilot winds down, and you keep everything already delivered.

First, we review your project for fit. If it matches, you receive the checkout and kickoff details.

Questions

Why not just use Lovable or Claude Code myself?

You should try. These tools are genuinely good. What they do not provide is responsibility for the result: whether the database rules are correct, the payment webhook works, or the deployment is stable. That responsibility is what you are paying for.

How much do I need to have figured out?

You should know who the software is for, what problem it solves, and what the first useful outcome looks like. You do not need to choose a stack or write a technical specification. We turn the idea into buildable requests with you.

Can you take over something I already started?

Yes. We review the project first to make sure the stack and current condition are a fit. If they are, stabilizing or extending it goes onto the board like any other request.

Can you replace software we already pay for?

Often, yes — especially when your team uses a narrow part of an expensive internal tool. We compare the workflow, migration needs, ongoing hosting, and likely savings before recommending a custom replacement. Core systems of record are outside the service.

What kinds of AI agents can you build?

Agents that perform a specific business job: answer and route calls, book appointments, triage inboxes, research leads, update CRMs, process documents, monitor systems, or coordinate work across several tools. We define what the agent may do, when it needs approval, and how a person takes over.

Who actually does the work?

AI coding agents, directed and reviewed by Brennen. Nothing is outsourced. One person understands the project and is accountable for what ships.

What does "one at a time" mean?

Your cards are worked in order, with one in active development. Its delivery estimate starts when it becomes active. Rearrange the queue before the next card begins if priorities change.

Do I own the code?

Yes, from the first commit. Work lives in your GitHub, hosting, domain, and database accounts. If you cancel, only new work stops.

What stack do you use?

If you have a modern, supportable stack, we usually work with it. For new apps, the default is Next.js, Supabase, and Vercel; Webflow or Framer for marketing pages; and n8n for automations. Existing projects are reviewed before signup.

Build the software — and the agents — your business actually needs.

Five founding spots. $700 a month. Custom apps, internal tools, automations, and AI agents — built one useful request at a time.
